9/8/2007: NLG Forum at Quinnipiac Law

The Connecticut chapter of the National Lawyers Guild will be sponsoring a forum on September 8, 2007 at Quinnipiac University School of Law entitled “Practicing Law in the Cowboy Republic: Challenges for Progressive Lawyering.”

The keynote speaker is Marjorie Cohn, the president of the NLG. There is also going to be a panel discussion of Connecticut attorneys. Attorney Diane “Cookie” Polan from New Haven will be talking specifically about the impact of the Bush regime on critical areas of criminal law and criminal defense work.
