death penality was and will always be an explosive issue. i think on the one hand some people ‘deserve’ it and on the other hand there are cases where i wished there would not be sth. like a death penality. but there is one thing i cannot understand as an european: how could it be that there are states where death penality still exists and others where it is forbidden? disputable laws, if you ask me!

And now Texas Gov. Rick Perry has removed three members of the panel reviewing the case, including the chairman, replacing them with ardent pro-death-penalty people.

I have no doubt of two things: he’s not the only or last innocent to be killed by the State and death penalty advocates either won’t admit it or will say “you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet,” forgetting that we aren’t talking about eggs (or omelets) here.
