I have a problem with what this ignorant cop has to say:

“Mattioli replied that – if it is not a busy night and I’m in a proactive mode, I try to stop as many cars as I can. If they have something hanging from the mirror, I will stop them, yes.”

Did the text box extend across the page for you? While I didn’t have your problem, using IE at work, the comment text box took up most of the page, pushing the sidebars far to the right. Odd, I don’t have that problem at home on IE. (Although I am using IE7, not 6.)

The main page has a red link that says [What the hell is this? show me the rest!] Clicking on it started opening a series of tabs and Explorer windows that only ended with a warm-boot to the computer. Haven’t tried it again.

Anyone else having problems opening the link below the cut — on Explorer it began opening an infinite series of windows and tabs until I warm booted to stop it.

No. The section (14-99f) refers only to windshields and obstruction on windshields.

(a) Each motor vehicle shall be equipped with a windshield of a type prescribed by section 14-100 and a windshield cleaner or wiper in effective working order located directly in front of the operator while in use on the highway.

and then:

(c) No article, device, sticker or ornament shall be attached or affixed to or hung on or in any motor vehicle in such a manner or location as to interfere with the operator’s unobstructed view of the highway or to distract the attention of the operator.
