		<description>I defend only misdemeanors where the stakes are pretty low, and frequently there is not a lot to be lost by going to trial.  I know felonies are very different, where losing at trial can mean prison vs. plea and probation.

In every case I've had so far, my clients have followed my recommendation to plea or litigate.
