After years of being inundated with commercials and friends promising me the golden civilization, I bit the bullet and bought an iPod.
It’s okay. Someone want to tell me what makes it so great?
I hate Apple, btw. Their stupid gimmicks and tactics ended up costing me $60 more than I wanted to (or should have to) pay. Which lead me to buy the 30GB version instead of the 80GB version (which I totally was going to).
I shouldn’t have to pay extra for a scratch-resistant case or a freakin wall-outlet charger!
And as much as I love U2, I’m not paying an extra $30 for a U2 version. C’mon.
Anyway. At least I’m listening to music again in forever.

You’re just now getting an iPod? Where have you been? Connecticut? Tee Hee Hee.
LOL.
That was weak.
Yes, I just bought one. I thought about buying the iPhone, but it’s just too damn expensive.
However, I just discovered that I plug my iPod into my car using an old cassette converter for a discman, so now I am officially excited
I still don’t have an IPOD.When I was a teenager, I collected over 300 records. When records went out of style, I bought over 200 cassettes.I have 100′s of c.d.’s-I think I’m tired of catching on to the latest trend.-Now I mostly listen to talk radio. I may get an ipod to use for my birding hobby.-They put all the songs of birds on an IPOD so that you can attract birds by playing their own songs.
