What if I apply for a public defender job (being a prosecutor is too easy) but don't get hired? What if I just want to be a private defense attorney? LOL.

Good news for PDs. Bad news for taxpayers, who will effectively be paying every young prosecutor an additional $10,000 (tax-free) to put people in prison. Since there are more prosecutors than defenders, I'm calling this one a net loss for society and a net win for the prison-industrial complex and the war on <strike>brown people</strike> drugs.
