testing new design

Since I have a theme-happy trigger finger, I’m testing out a new theme and any input would be appreciated. You can view it here [it will open in a new window, so you can compare both side by side]. Vote in the poll below to let me know which one you prefer or leave a comment if you’d like to see any changes in either design.

I read through an RSS feed reader so I do not see your web design on a regular basis. I just looked at both and they both look fine to me.
Is the new one based on the K2 theme? I like that theme and have enjoyed tweaking it in the past. Generally, unless I’m posting a comment, I read in an RSS reader. If you put my feet to the fire and forced me to choose, I’d probably choose the new one with a few minor tweaks to how sidebar items/icons line up…It seems a bit more spacious.
No, it isn’t based on K2 (at least not that I know of). It is Brian Gardner’s Blue Zinfandel.
What sidebar tweaking would you suggest? It is a bit more spacious, which is why I like it.
