Blog goes green

Update: And we’re back! Despite my affinity for Mother Earth, the green was a little too jarring. I have been tinkering with some plugins, though.

  • Sphere related content” is back and if you click on the link at the end of each post, it should (hopefully) show you related posts across the blogosphere.
  • Comments e-mail notification is now active. If you check the box under the e-mail comment form, you’ll be notified via e-mail of follow up comments.
  • Finally, earlier today I had implemented AJAX inline comment forms, which would display the comments and the comment box on the main page itself and there would be no need to load a new page for the comments. However, I couldn’t get the comments to display using the current style (they just rendered like the text of the post) so I de-activated that plugin. I’m still tinkering with it but it is still buggy. I’ve implemented it on the test blog. IF YOU WANT TO TRY IT OUT, BE WARNED. It caused my browser to crash twice.

Original post after the jump.

In honor of Earth Day, this blog has gone (mostly) green. I didn’t want to get into too many changes, so I’ve altered only the header and the sidebar headings. You get the point, though.

If someone has a good “Earth Day” logo, I’m looking to add that right in the middle of the header image, so pass it along.

Otherwise, do your bit for conservation!
