a public defender

My identity has been revealed

Posted on April 01, 2007 by Gideon

Update: Now that the calendar reads April 2nd, it is safe to say that the preceding was an April Fool’s Day joke. My name is not really David L. Washington and I do not attend the Lockhart school of law.

For the past few years, I have blogged anonymously and for good reason. Who I am, what I do is purely my own business. However, the super-sleuths at pd stuff and pd investigator have somehow discovered my identity. In classic celebrity style, I am going to pre-empt any publicity this might cause by stating who I really am here on my blog. I have not decided whether to continue to blog since I feel particularly violated. I may just shut down the blog.

My name is David L. Washington and I am currently a 2L at Lockhart School of Law. I am 23 years old and I am married with no kids. When I graduate, I want to become a District Attorney who prosecutes the offenders. This blog is merely to give me training in writing and how to think like a defense attorney; valuable skills when I become a prosecutor.

There. Are you happy now?

You could have avoided this, and ten bucks a week isn’t that much, even for a 2L.

If only I knew your real name; I’d report you to the authorities.
